I have one request of the developers: I’m a fan of the very old Classic game, “Shanghai.” They had some cool tile sets. One can also find various kinds of games with the word “chess” in them that have no relation to the actual game of chess. I respect that, but the term “mahjong” has, by this time, entered the English lexicon to encompass a broader range of meanings than the original. Darn you, developers! : )īy the way, I am aware that there are reviewers out there who detest any game that has “Mahjong” in the title and is not also a true Mahjong game. But now I also have to detest the developers because, darn it, I ended up buying a program from the App Store without a demo. It has a good range of icon sets, backgrounds, and layouts, and for the price, it’s a pretty good bargain.

This seemed the most promising of what I found, and I decided that for the price, I would take a chance. However, the Mahjong program I've used for a long time has been crashing on me as of late, and I wanted to try something else. Okay, if you read any of my reviews for a wide range of programs, I have been adamantly opposed to anyone who does not offer a demo.
